Additional measures are being prepared in order to create new employment opportunities for the people resettled and will be resettled in our territories liberated from occupation within the framework of the Great Return program. The measures include strengthening partnerships with social partners, enhancing professional skills for the unemployed, and promoting job creation.
This was announced at the information session held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population on the activities of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev emphasized that one of the main tasks is to cover the residents of Karabakh and East Zangazur with social support and active employment measures in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.
The session also addressed that the implementation of additional measures in the territories liberated from occupation will serve to increase employment opportunities and sustainable settlement in those territories.
The information session also discussed proposals for organizing clusters and conducting digital monitoring of production and service envelopes under the program in order to increase the efficiency of the self-employment program.
The purpose of creating clusters is to concentrate services necessary for citizens in the same place, to have a positive effect on profitability and to eliminate informal employment.
The proposal to transfer the monitoring of production and service envelopes of the self-employment program to the digital and electronic level was also considered.
It was noted that this electronicization will allow optimization of management, reduction of the workload of employees, provision of effective, innovative and data-based reporting in monitoring processes.
The session also covered the work done by the Agency and other upcoming goals.
