20000 individuals have already been provided with assets under this project, allowing them to establish small businesses.
The "Employment Support Project," covering the period from 2020 to 2025, aims to involve an additional 5000 individuals this year.
Implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with financial support from the World Bank, this project also supports the expansion of the self-employment program.
The project provides unemployed individuals from vulnerable groups, including youth, women, people with disabilities, members of martyrs' families, low-income families, and other disadvantaged groups, with equipment for production and service sectors, enabling them to access the labour market.
To date, 20000 individuals have been provided with assets under the "Employment Support Project" and have established small businesses in the production and service sectors.
As part of the project, which aims to reach 22000 unemployed individuals, the successful implementation of the project is expected to increase this number to 25000 by the end of this year.
