Minister Sahil Babayev said at the board meeting like this
The minimum wage and minimum pension will be increased from next year in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.
This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev at the board meeting held at the Ministry.
Information was given on the work done in the direction of improving the normative legal framework in labor, pension, disability and other areas as a continuation of social reforms.
It was brought to attention that more than 20 draft normative legal acts on the creation of non-state pension funds have been prepared.
It was stated that currently 52 types of allowances and pensions are proactively assigned, and work is being continued to increase the comprehensiveness of the mechanism of proactive assignment of social payments.
It was emphasized that the process of final medical examination of citizens called up for active military service by the Ministry is carried out using digital solutions.
It was noted that in the past period, the free funds of the State Social Protection Fund and the Unemployment Insurance Fund were successfully invested in financial instruments, and the obtained incomes served to strengthen the social protection system.
The Collegium approved 26 more professional and qualification standards in the fields of electricity, trade, and mining at the meeting.
Work done and future goals in the fields of labor, employment, social insurance, pension, disability, social security, finance and purchases were discussed.
