Social indicators for the 10-month period
In the first ten months of this year, pension payments amounted to 5 billion 404 million manats, which is 649 million manats (14%) higher compared to the same period last year.
During this period, the average monthly pension across the country increased by 13%, reaching 494 manats, with the average monthly amount of old-age pensions rising by 12%, reaching 527 manats.
Since the start of electronic pension appointments in early 2019, a total of 133000 pension appointments had been proactively assigned through the e-system, while 31000 of them were assigned in the first ten months of this year.
