An Action Plan for 2025-2026 was signed for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding and Mutual Cooperation on Labour Inspection between the State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Federal Service for Labour and Employment of the Russian Federation.
The document was signed by Vali Guliyev, head of the State Labour Inspection Service, and Mikhail Ivankov, head of Federal Service for Labour and Employment of the Russian Federation, during a ceremony to award the winners of the "Best Profession in the Federal Labour Inspection System" competition held in Russia.
The Action Plan outlines joint activities between the two institutions to plan and implement state control over compliance with labour legislation, including the use of electronic information systems for conducting electronic audits, applying a risk-based approach during inspections, taking preventive measures, and enhancing the professionalism of labour inspectors.
The plan also includes mutual visits for the exchange of experience in relevant fields.
During the visit, meetings were held at the Federal Service for Labour and Employment of the Russian Federation, and experience exchange took place in the relevant areas of activity.
