IT industry professionals delivered speeches at the event titled "Women, Technologies, and Innovations.
An event titled "Women, Technologies, and Innovations" was held at the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center in connection with the International Girls in ICT Day.
The event was organized in partnership with the "Volunteer DOST" program and the "ASAN Volunteers" Organization, with the collaboration of the INNOLAND Incubation and Acceleration Center and the DOST Digital Innovations Center, supported by ASAN Radio and DOST TV.
Over 70 female volunteers who are members of the "Volunteer DOST" program and the "ASAN Volunteers" organization participated in the forum. The purpose of the event was to attract young female volunteers to the ICT field and stimulate their activities in this area.
During the forum, speakers including Aynur Qurbanli, Deputy Director of Projects Management and Technology Solutions Department at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Khayala Fatullayeva, Head of the Digital Economy Department at the Analysis and Coordination Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Talifa Iskandarli, organizer of the "BakuID" investment event, Zahra Imanova, founder of the "Zahra Kosmosda" platform and content creator, and Susan Yunisova, back-end lead specialist at Unibank's Digital Laboratory, provided information on the role of women in ICT and shared personal success stories.
It was emphasized that gender equality in ICT is one of the key factors in expanding women's rights and opportunities. The forum, which attracted great interest from participants, concluded with a question-and-answer session and presentations from members of the "Cultural Ambassador" program.
