The Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Sahil Babayev met with Adil Chalishkan, the Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services of Türkiye, and Lutfihak Alpkan, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security of Türkiye, within the framework of the COP29 event held in Baku.
The meeting emphasized that, through the joint efforts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, the relationship between the two brotherly countries has continually developed, reaching an alliance level based on friendship and brotherhood.
The significance of the COP29 event hosted by our country, as well as the importance of the events related to labour and social protection held within this framework, was highlighted.
It was noted that there is successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the areas of labour, employment, social protection, and social services, with the legal framework of cooperation constantly expanding in these fields. It was emphasized that the documents signed in recent years have contributed to the development of cooperation between the two countries in the mentioned areas.
A discussion took place on the future development of cooperation in labour and social protection, as well as social services.
