Social Indicators for 9 Months
The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, provided 76,300 rehabilitation tools to people with disabilities from January to September of this year.
Among these aids, 4,600 were wheelchairs (including 153 motorized wheelchairs), 1,700 were lower and upper limb prostheses, 1,800 were hearing aids, 2,000 were crutches and elbow crutches, and 131 were corsets. Additionally, these individuals received 2,700 pairs of prosthetic shoes, 4,700 pairs of orthopedic shoes, and other rehabilitation aids.
In total, 9,600 people with disabilities were provided with rehabilitation aids in the first nine months of this year.
