570 beneficiaries were involved in training in various areas of activity at the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The Center, which was established on the initiative of First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, supports the development of the creative potential of people belonging to vulnerable groups, also their rehabilitation and integration into society.
Opening in October 2021, the center will offer dance, visual arts, pottery, music, tailoring, fashion design, carpet weaving, weaving, embroidery, artistic carving, floristry, horticulture and landscape design, audio-recording, photography, cooking, stage performance, capoeira , badminton and other trainings are organized. Certificates were presented to those who successfully completed the training.
Now, 180 beneficiaries are participating in trainings and improving their skills. 136 of them are people with disabilities, others are from low-income families, people who have lost their parents and are deprived of parental care, members of martyrs' families, people with war-related disabilities and family members.
Additionally, providing support for the development of the creative potential of vulnerable groups, complex rehabilitation, social-pedagogical development and psychological support works are also carried out for them according to international methods.
