In the first 9 months of the current year, a total of 4 billion 860 million manats were allocated for pension payments, which is 14 percent (584 million manats) more compared to the same period last year.
During the period, the average monthly pension across the country increased by 13 percent, reaching 491 manats, while the average monthly amount of age-related pension reached 525 manats.
Since the start of electronic appointment of social payments in 2019, a total of 131,000 pensions had been proactively assigned through the e-system, while 29,000 of these were assigned in the first nine months of this year.
