After the period of 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijan Army achieved a great victory under the leadership of the President, Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of a large-scale social support package for members of martyrs' families and war participants is being successfully continued.
Within the framework of this social support package, Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population implemented the following in the post-war period:
• 119000 monthly social payments were made to 106000 members of martyrs' families and war veterans, and 24200 individuals were granted one-time payments;
• The housing program for members of martyrs' families and individuals disabled in the war was expanded five times, providing them 6326 apartments and private houses, along with 528 cars for people disabled in the war;
• 68100 social-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11000 members of martyrs' families and war participants;
• 2232 individuals disabled in the war were provided with 61100 rehabilitation tools, including 490 individuals receiving 599 high-tech modern prostheses;
• 24400 members of martyrs' families and war participants were employed, with 12100 individuals included in the self-employment program.
Overall, the social support package in the post-war period covered 130000 individuals, providing a total of 363000 services to support them.
