3 billion 775 million manats were assigned to pension payments which is more than 456 million manat of the corresponding period

In January-July of this year, pension payments amounted 3 billion, which is 14 percent more than the corresponding period of last year. 775 million manat are allocated.

As a next step towards increasing pensions, from 1 January 2024 all pensions will be increased by an 11.2% indexation in line with the annual growth rate of the average monthly wage for the past year. The average age pension in the country increased by 13 per cent during the reporting period, to 491 manat, and the average age pension was 525 manat.
25,000 e-pensions were assigned in 7 months of this year, since the beginning of 2019 when 127,000 pension determinations have been  made proactively through the electronic system.
