The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population provided 200 more apartments to the families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities. Apartments were presented from new residential complexes built in Baku and Mingachevir cities, Absheron, Sheki, Goygol regions.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Hidayat Abdullayev and Head of the Executive Power of the city of Mingachevir Ilham Ismayilov took part in the event of presentation of documents for apartments in Mingachevir.
H.Abdullayev emphasized that after the 44-day Patriotic War, in which the Azerbaijan Army achieved a great victory under the leadership of the President and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, the program of providing apartments and private houses to the families of martyrs and those with war-related disabilities was expanded 5 times by the order of the head of state.
It was reported that in the post-war period, 6,200 apartments and private houses were provided to citizens of those categories, and in total, more than 15,000 apartments and private houses were provided in the last period. At the same time, in the post-war period, important steps taken to strengthen the social security of the families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities, to be covered by social support programs, rehabilitation services, to ensure their employment and other directions were mentioned.
I. Ismayilov said that families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities are always the focus of the state, and successive works are being done in the field of social protection of those citizens in Mingachevir.
Members of the families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for being surrounded by attention and care, as well as, for providing them with new apartments today.
