A total of 150 apartments and private houses were provided to martyrs' families and individuals disabled in the war in Lankaran, Kurdamir, Yevlakh, Agdash, Shamakhi, Ujar, Jalilabad, Tovuz, and Aghsu by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The event of presenting the apartments in Lankaran was attended by the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Vusal Nasirli and the First Deputy of the head of Lankaran City Executive Authority, Mikayil Jafarzade.
Vusal Nasirli mentioned that the provision of housing for martyrs' families and individuals disabled in the war began in the 1990s under the instructions of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and has been successfully continued over the years.
In the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended with our magnificent victory, one of the directions of the extensive social support package implemented for martyrs' families and war veterans is to provide them with apartments and private houses. During the post-war period, 6800 apartments have been provided, and in total, around 16000 apartments have been offered during the entire period.
Additionally, nearly 90 cars were provided to individuals with disabilities related to the war this year, and 567 cars had been distributed during the post-war period. In total, around 7800 cars had been given out, and the provision of cars to those on the waiting list from this category had been completed.
Mikayil Jafarzade spoke about the state's care for martyrs' families and individuals with disabilities related to the war. The members of martyrs' families and war veterans expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care they have received and for being provided with new homes.
