After the 44-day Patriotic War, 4,760 apartments and private houses were presented to families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities, 260 this year, and 13,560 apartments and private houses in the last period.
Today, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population organized a ceremony in Hovsan Residential Complex of MIDA and in Absheron, Shamkir, Gazakh, Gadabey, Tovuz, Ujar, Yevlakh, Yardimli, Balaken, Gakh, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Saatli, Sheki, Tartar regions, 100 apartments and private houses were presented to the families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities.
Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev and Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry Elshad Mammadov took part in the event of presenting the documents of the apartments. A. Aliyev drew attention to the important services rendered by National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of establishing and developing the social protection system in our country.
It was noted that the program of providing apartments and private houses to families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities was started in the 90s of the last century by the order of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and these measures have been successfully continued year after year.
After the 44-day Patriotic War, in which our Army won a great victory under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev, a wide social support package for the families of martyrs and war participants is being implemented under the instructions of the head of state. Within the framework of this support package, the housing/private home provision program has been expanded 5 times.
From the beginning of 2021, the families of the martyrs of the Patriotic War and those with disabilities related to that war will also be provided with housing. Including the apartments and private houses presented today, after the 44-day Patriotic War, 4,760 apartments and private houses were given to the families of martyrs and people with war-related disabilities, 260 this year, and 13,560 apartments and private houses in the last period.
According to the order of the head of state, at least 1500 apartments and private houses will be given to our citizens of this category in 2023.
Citizens who were provided with new apartments and private houses expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for being constantly surrounded by state care.
