Children deprived of parental care, as well as persons from among them.

In what cases is the allowance granted?

A one-time allowance is paid to children deprived of parental care, as well as persons from among them, upon their first employment.

Amount of the allowance

6000 (six thousand) manats.

Application procedure

Once a person becomes entitled to the allowance, they may apply for it to the structural unit of the State Social Protection Fund at their place of residence, a DOST Centre, or the “Unified coordination centres for applications from family members of martyrs, military personnel injured in connection with the war, and persons with disabilities”.

List of required documents

·         A copy of the applicant’s identity card and birth certificate;

·         for employed persons, a copy of the employment record book in accordance with the “List of Positions (Professions) in State Bodies Where Employment Relations Arise Upon Conclusion of an Employment Contract in Written Form on Paper” approved by Decree No. 206 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 8, 2014;

Death certificates of the parents or a certificate issued by the district (city) Registration Departments of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan confirming this; or

A certificate from the guardianship and custody body of the local executive authority confirming that both parents are unknown; or

A legally effective court decision on deprivation of parental rights or restriction of parental rights; or

A legally effective court decision declaring the parents missing, incapacitated or having limited legal capacity, or declaring them dead; or

A certificate from the penitentiary institution confirming that the parents are serving a sentence; or

A notarized statement of the parents refusing to take their children from social service institutions for children, as well as refusing to raise them or protect their rights and interests; or

The death certificate of one of the parents.
