With the organization of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, another group of 30 Ukrainian children has been brought to Azerbaijan to receive social and psychological rehabilitation services.
As part of the 10-day programme, the children will first participate in group therapy sessions, meditation and yoga activities, as well as various psychosocial trainings and workshops at a camp located in Baku.
In the following days, they will receive medical and social-psychological rehabilitation services at the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Centre. They will also benefit from rehabilitation services such as therapeutic massage, therapeutic pool and bath treatments, art therapy, and others.
The programme participants will also have the opportunity to become closely acquainted with Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, arts, historical sites, and national cuisine.
The aim is to support the emotional stabilization of children affected by the war in Ukraine and to facilitate their social integration.
