As the next step in expanding the DOST service network across the country, a DOST branch of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center has started operating in Tartar.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev and Head of the Tartar District Executive Authority Mustaqim Mammadov reviewed the conditions created at the branch and the service delivery process.
Anar Aliyev noted that the establishment of the DOST Agency and DOST centers by the Presidential Decree of August 9, 2018, is one of the significant achievements of the social reforms carried out in recent years. Based on the DOST concept initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, state social services are delivered through a “single window” in a modern, flexible, transparent manner focused on citizen satisfaction.
It was emphasized that the DOST service network continues to expand and now also covers Tartar district. Overall, 7 DOST Centers, 2 DOST branches, 1 Smart DOST service point, and 2 DOST service points have been put into operation in Baku and the regions to date.
Currently, design, renovation, and construction works are underway for the establishment of DOST centers in Nakhchivan, Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgayit, Ganja, and Masalli, as well as DOST branches in a number of other regions.
The Minister instructed that services at the new branch be provided at a high level in line with the DOST concept, that issues reflected in citizens’ appeals be resolved in accordance with citizen satisfaction, and that applicants be involved in active labour market programs to support their employment.
The Tartar DOST branch is housed in a two-story building designed in a modern style with contemporary and constructive elements. On average, the branch is expected to serve up to 80 citizens per day.
