The establishment of the DOST Agency and DOST centers by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated 9 August 2018 is one of the significant achievements of the social reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years.
The DOST concept, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, has enabled the provision of 162 social services to citizens through a “one-stop-shop” system in a transparent, efficient and citizen-oriented manner based on the principle of citizen satisfaction. Today, the DOST model has become a new national brand of Azerbaijan and has also received high international recognition, being included among the world’s advanced best practices. A number of countries, including Moldova, Uzbekistan and Serbia, have shown great interest in the DOST concept.
Currently, 7 DOST Centers, 2 DOST branches and 3 DOST service points have been launched in Baku and across the regions. The fact that citizen satisfaction with DOST services exceeds 98.8 percent once again confirms that the DOST model is a successful service model.
The upcoming episode of “Social Hour” will be dedicated to DOST services.
The live broadcast, scheduled for 11:30 on 7 May on DOST TV, will feature a discussion with Gunduz Mehdiyev, Head of the Services Department of the DOST Agency operating under the Ministry, on this topic, while viewers’ questions will also be answered.
