In recent years, significant progress has been achieved in improving labour legislation in Azerbaijan based on progressive international approaches.
At the same time, the State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population continuously exercises state supervision over compliance with labour legislation in workplaces. The main objective is to ensure the proper implementation of labour legislation and the full protection of employees’ rights.
The next edition of “Social Hour”, which will be broadcast live on DOST TV on June 8 at 11:30, will feature an interview with Tengiz Nazarov, Head of the Guba-Khachmaz Regional Department of the Service, on this topic. The programme will discuss efforts undertaken to protect labour rights based on applications received by the Service, and questions of interest to viewers will also be answered.
