A media tour was organised to the Gabala Child Rehabilitation Centre of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Media representatives familiarised themselves with the conditions created for children with disabilities, modern rehabilitation methods, and service delivery processes.
The 25-bed centre provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services using modern physiotherapy methods and equipment.
In the first quarter of the current year, the centre provided rehabilitation services to 2 thousand 400 children with disabilities. Overall, between 2025–2026, 6 thousand 900 children benefited from the centre’s services.
Children with disabilities are also provided with rehabilitation services in centres located in Baku and Shamkir.
In January–March of the current year, a total of 10 thousand children received rehabilitation services nationwide.
These services aim to support the social and psychological integration of children with disabilities into society through medical and social rehabilitation.
