Social Indicators for January
In January of this year, pension payments amounted to 545 million manats, which is 13% (61 million manats) more compared to the same period last year.
Starting from the beginning of 2025, all types of pensions were indexed and increased by 8,1%, with the January increases being added to the February pension payments.
Following the indexing increase, the average monthly pension rose by 9%, reaching 537 manats, including the average monthly pension for old-age pensions, which reached 573 manats.
In the past month, 5000 pension assignments were made, and since the beginning of 2019, when the electronic pension assignment system started, a total of 142 000 pension assignments have been processed proactively through the e-system.
