A delegation from the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, currently visiting Azerbaijan, visited the DOST Agency operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
The guests first became acquainted with the services provided to citizens and the operating principles of Baku DOST Center No. 1. A comprehensive presentation was delivered to the delegation on the activities of the DOST centers and the volunteering program. The participants closely observed the involvement of volunteers in the service process and also followed the interview process organized for volunteer candidates.
At the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, the delegation was informed about the Center’s areas of activity and the role of volunteers in these processes. The guests also participated in master classes organized with the participation of the Center’s beneficiaries and volunteers.
As part of the visit, the delegation also visited Baku DOST Center No. 4. They toured the DOST TV studio and became closely acquainted with the institution’s media and communication activities.
During the two-day visit, the Uzbek delegation held meetings with various departments of the DOST Agency and observed adaptation trainings organized for volunteers, presentations of group projects, and sessions conducted within the framework of the “Personal Development” club.
During the meetings, an exchange of experience was carried out and prospects for future cooperation were discussed.
