On the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a group of employees of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population hiked to the Heydar Aliyev Peak located in the Greater Caucasus Mountains.
They climbed the Heydar Aliyev Peak, situated at an altitude of 3,751 metres above sea level in the Gizilgaya mountain range near the village of Khinalig in the Guba district.
Despite difficult weather conditions and challenging terrain, the participants of the hike successfully reached their destination.
At the peak bearing the name of the Great Leader, they visited his bas-relief and honoured his cherished memory with deep respect.
