Visits were made to households established under the self-employment program and to the Social Service Center in Aghdam.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev received residents of Aghdam and Tartar districts in Aghdam.
Before the reception, Anar Aliyev and Head of the Aghdam District Executive Authority Vaqif Hasanov visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
During the reception, citizens raised issues related to employment, disability, housing provision, social services, and other matters. Among the applicants were family members of martyrs and war participants. Each appeal was examined individually and appropriate measures were taken in line with the results.
Legal explanations were provided regarding inquiry-type appeals. Based on their applications, citizens were registered for involvement in active labour market programs, including the self-employment program and social services.
As part of the self-employment program, visits were made to small households established for Aghdam district residents Ulvi Shahriyar Idriszade and Esmira Abil Rzayeva. With the support of the program, a small auto locksmith service business was set up for Ulvi Idriszade, and a small bakery production business for Esmira Rzayeva. Both program participants expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided to enable unemployed and job-seeking individuals to access small business opportunities.
It should be noted that within the framework of the self-employment program, small households have been established for nearly 2600 individuals in Aghdam district over the past period.
A visit was also made to the Specialized Social Service Center established in Aghdam district by the Ministry. Currently, the Center provides psychological, pedagogical, speech therapy, and active therapy services to 36 children with disabilities and other vulnerable categories. Group therapies and training sessions are also organized for parents.
