A public hearing on the "Employment Support Project," implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with financial support from the World Bank, was held in the Shabran.
During the meeting, attended by job seekers, unemployed individuals, and those interested in starting their own businesses, information was provided about the project's goals, objectives, and scope.
The discussion covered environmental and social requirements during the project’s implementation, expected benefits of the program, and the application process for the project.
The event also included details on the "Motivation Award" competition, which supports individuals who have successfully established small businesses with equipment and are now expanding their businesses. Information was shared about the conditions for participation in the competition.
The "Employment Support Project" enables access to small businesses for individuals from vulnerable groups. Already, more than 20 000 people have been provided with assets under the project and have established small businesses in the production and service sectors.
As a result of the successful implementation of the project, the number of participants is expected to reach 25 000 by the end of this year.
