The presentation ceremony of the book “Privileged: Revival for Business” published with the support of “Ekvita” LLC was held.
The book contains success stories of members of martyrs’ families, war veterans, people with disabilities and citizens from other vulnerable groups who established small businesses by taking advantage of the Self-Employment Program.
In the book, the author of the book, Gunel Jannatali, highlighted how people who have gone through various life trials have opened a new stage in their lives by starting a business thanks to state support, and their contributions to society with these activities.
Representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, people who contributed to the creation of the book, as well as the heroes of the stories in the book, attended the presentation event.
Speakers at the event stated that the book “Privileged: Revival for Business” not only reflects the life path of people who have achieved success with state support, but also motivates new initiatives.
It was noted that the Self-Employment Program implemented by the Ministry plays an important role in the integration of vulnerable population groups into the labor market, the formation of sustainable income opportunities, and the development of small businesses.
