Fifty-three employees who had been unlawfully dismissed were also reinstated to their previous jobs.
During January–May, the State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population identified delays by employers in paying AZN 378.3 thousand in social payments owed to employees.
As a result of the measures taken, these funds were paid to the employees by the employers.
Of the total amount, 93 percent consisted of wages, while 7 percent comprised benefits, compensations, and damage-related payments.
During the examination of applications, the State Labour Inspectorate Service also determined that the employment contracts of 53 employees had been terminated in violation of legal requirements.
As a result of measures taken by the Service in accordance with the legislation, those employees were reinstated to their previous jobs.
