An infotour has been organized for representatives of civil society institutions to Social Service Institution No. 2 for persons under the age of 18 with disabilities, operating under the Social Services Agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
The purpose of the event was to provide information about the institution’s activities and the work carried out to support the social integration of its residents, as well as to gather the opinions and proposals of NGOs in this field.
Participants of the infotour became closely acquainted with the conditions created at the institution, the services provided to children with disabilities, and the activities of the day care center operating under the institution.
It was noted that children with disabilities at the institution receive social-psychological, social-pedagogical, social-medical, and social-household services. Work is also carried out to develop children’s individual skills, prepare them for independent living, and support their integration into society. Currently, rehabilitation-oriented social services are provided to one hundred sixty four children with disabilities at the institution.
Questions of interest to the infotour participants were answered, and their opinions and suggestions were heard.
