Social indicators for 2024
In 2024, the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided home-based (mobile) rehabilitation services to 2100 individuals with disabilities who had difficulty leaving their homes.
Those wishing to benefit from mobile rehabilitation services can contact the Ministry's “142” Call Center, DOST centers, or the local Medical-Social Expertise Commission.
Based on the application, a mobile team consisting of doctors and psychologists from the relevant rehabilitation center visits the person's home to conduct an initial examination and assessment.
An individual plan is then created for the person, and rehabilitation services are provided within the designated time frame, including medical and psychological consultations, speech therapy sessions, therapeutic massage, therapeutic physical education, occupational therapy, and others.
