In the last five years, over 1300 occupational and qualification standards have been developed and approved.
The Ministry of Labur and Social Protection of Population plans to develop and approve an additional 300 occupational and qualification standards this year.
Occupational standards define the content of the work that an employee in a specific profession must perform, along with the minimum requirements for working conditions. Qualification standards outline the skills, training outcomes, and assessment criteria required for various qualifications.
These standards serve as the foundation for preparing the workforce in line with labour market demands, improving the quality of human resources, and aligning with international standards.
Over the past five years, more than 1300 occupational and qualification standards have been developed and approved, and have been included in the "Register of Occupational and Qualification Standards" available on the Ministry’s e-social.az portal.
