Members of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population visited the stand of the State Employment Agency at the 7th “Local Companies Promotion Exhibition”. They familiarised themselves with the Agency’s services and the active employment measures organised by it.

Members of the Public council attended the job fair organised as part of the stand and reviewed the vacancies offered by employers. It was noted that, during the exhibition, job fairs held at the Agency’s stand featured up to 300 vacancies offered by approximately 80 employers, and candidates matching the vacancies were registered.

Members of the Council observed the application and initial registration processes for unemployed persons and jobseekers at the job fair. They were also informed about the organisation of vocational training for unemployed persons and jobseekers. The Council members observed one of the awareness-raising meetings organised by the Agency for employers. During the meeting, employers were informed about employment services, existing opportunities in the labour market and cooperation mechanisms.

It should be noted that the 7th “Local Companies Promotion Exhibition” was held from 17 to 20 June, jointly organised by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) and “Marsol Group”, with the partnership of “Kapital Bank”, the National Association of Business Organisations, State Advertising Agency of Azerbaijan and the State Employment Agency.
