Composition

He is the Chairperson of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. As Deputy Chairperson of the “Umman” Public Union for the Care of Children with Disabilities, he actively contributes to social protection for vulnerable population groups, the promotion of inclusion and the strengthening of public participation.

He holds a Doctor of Science in Economics degree and is a professor. He has worked in higher education and scientific research for many years and has held senior positions at various universities. He currently heads the Institute of Innovative Economic Research at Azerbaijan Technical University. He also serves as Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development at Odlar Yurdu University. He is the author of 12 monographs, 4 textbooks, 2 teaching manuals and more than 500 scientific publications, including 100 indexed in international citation databases. He serves as an economic analyst and commentator for a number of local and foreign media outlets. He was awarded the “Progress” Medal for his services in the field of education.

He is the Deputy Chairperson of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Chairperson of the “Public Union of Special Forces Veterans, Families of Martyrs and Veterans”.

Through projects he has implemented, including “Work with Families of Martyrs and War Veterans” and “Public Appeal of Veterans, Families of Martyrs and Veterans from Western Azerbaijan – We Will Return!”, he has contributed to raising awareness of the social conditions of families of martyrs and veterans, providing them with social and psychological support, and increasing public awareness. He consistently works to strengthen the social protection of veterans and families of martyrs, defend their rights, and facilitate the integration of veterans into society. He is a member of the Board of the Press Council of Azerbaijan. He served for many years in the Special Forces of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is a participant in the Patriotic War and was wounded in the battles for Shusha. He has been awarded 16 different medals by the state.

She is the Secretary of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. She previously served as Chairperson of the “Integration of Persons with Disabilities into Society” Public Union and continues her work as Chairperson of the “For an Inclusive Society” Public Union for Supporting Persons with Disabilities, established on the basis of that organisation.

She implements socially significant projects aimed at the social and legal protection of persons with disabilities, including children and other socially vulnerable groups, and at expanding their access to social-psychological and pedagogical services and inclusive education. She also supports the development of an inclusive society. She is a specialist in social work with more than 15 years of professional experience. She is a member of the Board of the National Paralympic Committee of Azerbaijan. She was awarded the “Progress” Medal for her effective work in the public sphere.

He is a member of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. He is the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the “League for the Protection of Citizens’ Labour Rights” and actively participates in implementing initiatives aimed at improving social welfare, supporting employment and promoting social justice.

He has served as Coordinator of the Council of Experts under the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) and as an expert of the National Preventive Group. In addition to being a member of the Board of the Confederation of Lawyers of Azerbaijan, an expert in projects of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association, he serves as Executive Director of the Centre for Social Research. He has participated as an expert in cooperation with the United Nations, the OSCE and other international organisations, and has contributed to projects in the fields of human rights and labour relations. He is the author of more than 15 books and teaching manuals, as well as over 20 research papers.

She is a member of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. She is the Chairperson of the “For Citizens’ Social Welfare” Public Union.

She has headed nearly 100 social projects implemented with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the embassies of Norway and Germany, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, and the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations. She is actively engaged in protecting the rights of groups in need of social protection, improving their well-being and increasing public participation. The public union she chairs is a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Civil Society Forum of the Eastern Partnership Platform of the European Union, the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia, and the International NGO Coalition for Social Development. She was awarded the “Progress” Medal for her effective work in the public sphere.

He is a member of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. He is the Chairperson of the “Association of Mine Victims in Azerbaijan” Public Union.

The organisation he heads implements projects aimed at protecting the rights of persons affected by mines and unexploded ordnance in Azerbaijan and improving their social conditions. It actively works to provide psychological and social support to mine victims and expand their employment opportunities. He also serves as Head of the Press Service of the Garabagh Society of Persons with Disabilities and the “Garabagh Veterans” Public Union. He is a member of the Board of the Journalists’ Trade Union. He currently works at the International Eurasia Press Fund and serves as Editor-in-Chief of www.qaziler.az.

He is a member of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. He is a member of the “Centre for Assistance to the Development of a Free Economy” Public Union.

In addition to serving as a lecturer at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), he heads a department at Odlar Yurdu University. He is the author of 14 scientific articles, 12 abstracts, 1 monograph and 3 book chapters. He actively participates in projects aimed at raising awareness of socio-economic issues and supports the scientific and professional development of young people.

She is a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. She is the Chairperson of the “Support for Socio-Economic and Agricultural Development” Public Union.

She has implemented projects such as “Enhancing the Skills of Young Women”, “Gender and Society”, and “Organising the Activities of Rehabilitation Centres for Children with Disabilities”. She has organised the operation of day-care centres to prevent children from entering state childcare institutions and to ensure access to social services for children and families facing difficult life circumstances, as well as day-care centres for older persons.

He is a member of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

He has many years of experience in public administration and employment policy, with extensive expertise in protecting workers’ labour and socio-economic rights, improving their working conditions, and representing their interests in matters of social security.

At various times, he has held senior positions at the Ministry of Economy, the State Employment Agency and the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC).
