In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Public Participation” and the Regulation “On the Election of the Public council by Civil Society Institutions”, approved by Resolution No. 171 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 30 May 2014, candidates for membership of the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population were registered on the basis of the announcement issued by the Election Commission established to organise elections to the Public council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan (26 February – 4 April 2025).

The candidacies of 12 persons for membership of the Public council were registered. The Election Commission determined that the Public council would consist of 9 members.

According to the decision of the Election Commission, elections for membership of the Public council will be held on 18 April 2025, from 10:00 to 13:00, at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population (1st floor, conference hall), during a joint assembly comprising equal numbers of representatives of civil society institutions.
