Bahadur Rzayev, Adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the Agency, provided detailed information on rehabilitation services delivered to persons with disabilities, including persons with war-related disabilities.
Digital and innovative projects implemented by the Agency in recent years to make services more accessible, inclusive and citizen-centred were highlighted.
As part of the event, a presentation was delivered on the organisation of rehabilitation services, reforms carried out in this field in recent years, alternative rehabilitation methods introduced, the development of rehabilitation infrastructure in line with modern requirements, and efforts to expand the rehabilitation network.
Information was also provided on the Institution’s “Just for you” (“Sənə özəl”), “Let us be your voice” (“Səsiniz olaq”), and “RehaBus” projects, as well as the “Reasonable Accommodation” (“Ağlabatan uyğunlaşdırma”) mechanism.
During the information tour, participants familiarised themselves with the facilities at the rehabilitation centre, which meets modern requirements, and with the medical and social-psychological rehabilitation services provided to persons with disabilities.
An exchange of views on rehabilitation services took place at the meeting, and the opinions and proposals of civil society representatives were heard.
