A meeting was held with members of the Public council under the Ministry at the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

Sadig Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Agency, briefed the Council members on active employment programmes, reforms being implemented in the Agency’s areas of activity, efforts to expand the use of innovative solutions, and the institution’s objectives for the current year.

It was highlighted that the Agency maintains close cooperation with the private sector, non-governmental organisations and civil society institutions in ensuring employment for unemployed persons and jobseekers, as well as organising vocational training. The work carried out to promote the employment of persons from vulnerable groups, including members of families of martyrs and war participants, was also discussed.

The opinions and proposals of Elshad Mammadov, Chairperson of the Public Council, and other Council members were heard. The meeting included discussions on future cooperation and the organisation of joint public debates with civil society institutions.
