A meeting was held with members of the Public council operating under the Ministry at the State Labour Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

At the meeting, information was provided on reforms in the field of state supervision over compliance with labour legislation, the work carried out by the Service, and its future plans and objectives.

Attention was drawn to the introduction of electronic employment contracts in August of the previous year and the successful implementation of the “DOST Inspector” project jointly carried out by the Service and the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues.

In addition, information was provided on awareness-raising activities conducted by the State Labour Inspection Service for employers and their representatives in the field of labour relations, in accordance with the Action Plan approved for 2025.

The support provided for the implementation of occupational health and safety standards, norms and rules at enterprises was highlighted, and an exchange of views took place on newly adopted standards.

The meeting also addressed the work carried out to enhance transparency and prevent corruption. The views of Elshad Mammadov, Chairperson of the Public council, and Council members, as well as their proposals for future cooperation, were heard.
