A meeting was held with members of the Public council under the Ministry at the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

At the meeting, Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, delivered a speech and provided detailed information on the institution’s activities in 2025, including the analysis of labour market development trends, the conduct of monitoring and research in the field of social protection, and other areas of work.

It was noted that ensuring public participation remained one of the key priorities in the activities of the National Observatory last year as well. To this end, various activities were carried out in different formats to strengthen public relations, facilitate regular information exchange with stakeholders, and make labour market-related information more accessible.

Extensive research was conducted on graduates’ employment indicators with a view to ensuring a more effective process of integration from the education system into the labour market.

The opinions and proposals of Elshad Mammadov, Chairperson of the Public council, and other Council members regarding the activities carried out in the areas of responsibility of the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues were heard, and an exchange of views took place.
