A meeting was held with members of the Public council under the Ministry at the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, informed the Council members about the activities and recent achievements of the National Observatory. He noted that the Observatory was gaining international recognition for its contribution to labour market development, innovative approaches and analytical capacity.
The strategic analyses conducted by the institution, its digital survey and monitoring systems, as well as the advanced solutions it offers in the field of social protection, are highly appreciated by international organisations and reputable expert platforms.
The Council members were subsequently briefed on the analyses conducted and survey results. It was noted that analyses aimed at ensuring integration from the education system into the labour market help identify strategic employment areas, priority occupations, the most in-demand qualifications in the labour market, and graduates’ employment indicators.
The proposals of Elshad Mammadov, Chairperson of the Public council, and other Council members were heard. The importance of regularly informing Council members in order to ensure public participation in the activities of the National Observatory was emphasised, and an exchange of views took place on this matter.
