One of the primary areas of focus for the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the establishment and enhancement of international cooperation relations in the fields of labour, employment, labour market regulation, population settlement and demography, disability and rehabilitation, and social security. In this regard, the Ministry actively cooperates with relevant agencies of various countries as well as reputable international organizations.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has established and consistently develops bilateral cooperation relations with relevant agencies of Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Germany, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Montenegro, Italy, Bulgaria, Latvia, Iran, Iraq, Slovenia, Pakistan, Morocco, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, China, Korea, Japan and other countries. So far, within the framework of the Ministry's directions of activity, a large number of intergovernmental and inter-agency agreements, protocols, memorandums and cooperation programs have been signed with relevant state agencies of foreign countries and international organizations.
At the same time, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population operates in cooperation with the United Nations (UN), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the World Bank (WB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and other international organizations. This cooperation is observed through the implementation of joint projects in areas such as labour, employment, labour migration, social protection, rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, etc. and contributes to the development of these fields in our country.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population continues to work towards expanding international cooperation relations, studying advanced world practices in relevant areas within the framework of this cooperation, and exchanging experience and information.
