The "Kashalata" cafe, Baku's first inclusive cafe where people with disabilities will also work, has started operating.
At the cafe's opening were representatives of the public and private sectors, as well as Ministers of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev, Youth and Sports Minister Farid Gayibov, and Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orkhan Mammadov.
The guests got acquainted with the conditions and work environment created in the cafe, and congratulated the persons with disabilities who have been employed here on their new jobs.
Minister S. Babayev said that equal opportunities for vulnerable groups in society and creation of inclusive opportunities for them is one of the priority directions of the social policy conducted in our country.
He expressed confidence that "Kashalata" cafe will play an important role in the integration of people with disabilities into society.
It should be noted that "Kashalata" cafe, founded on the initiative of "Birge va Sağlam" PU, aims to support the employment of young people with disabilities in an inclusive environment and promote their integration into society.
A total of 20 young people are employed in the cafe located at 57 U. Hajibeyli street, 10 of them are young people with disabilities.
The establishment of the cafe was supported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, KOBIA, SOCAR, "Pasha Holding," and "Trendyol Azerbaijan."
