The final event of the "Labor Rights" training program dedicated to the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" was held within the framework of the joint project of the State Labor Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the DOST Agency under the Ministry ("DOST to DOST").
The event organized at the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity began with the presentation of a video clip on the report of the work done within the framework of the training program.
At the event, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Anar Karimov drew attention to the successes of the social development strategy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan. It was noted that on the basis of the tasks of the Great Leader, the legislative framework in the field of labor and employment, the state institution that carries out state control over compliance with labor legislation, that is, the State Labor Inspectorate under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population - currently the State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry - was established. The historical achievements and victories of Azerbaijan were noted as a result of national leader Heydar Aliyev's successful domestic and foreign policy continued and developed at a high level under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
The progress achieved in the field of strengthening the social protection system and expansion of active employment programs was highlighted. The reforms carried out in the direction of improving the state control mechanism for guaranteeing labor rights were also discussed. The significance of the "Labor and Employment" subsystem, which was put into use last year, where e-technologies are widely applied, was emphasized.
In educating our youth, the importance of the "Labor Rights" training program, including our young volunteers, about labor rights and the requirements of labor legislation was emphasized.
Veli Guliyev, the head of the State Labor Inspection Service at the Ministry, and Farid Mammadov, the Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency subordinated to the Ministry, spoke. The significance of such measures in increasing the awareness of young people in the field of labor protection was noted. It was reported that volunteers of the "Voluntary FRIEND" program participated in the training program. They were informed about the rules related to labor protection, healthy and safe working conditions. In order to acquire practical knowledge on the relevant topic, an info-tour was organized to the workplace of the company with exemplary experience in the field of labor protection.
A video on labor rights was shown and a musical composition performed by volunteers accompanied by the orchestra of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center was presented at the event. In the training process, in order to evaluate the knowledge they acquired, a group competition was held in the "social-theatre" format and the winners were defined. Certificates and gifts were presented to the volunteers who participated in the training program, and letters of thanks were presented to the trainers and organizers.
