A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Azerbaijan, Gorazd Rencelj.
During the meeting, Anar Karimov, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population and head of the Azerbaijan-Slovenia Joint Working Group on behalf of Azerbaijan, noted that the relations between the two countries have been developing successfully. He emphasized the importance of high-level mutual visits and continuous political dialogue in expanding bilateral relations based on friendship, mutual respect, and beneficial cooperation.
It was highlighted that the Azerbaijan-Slovenia Joint Working Group also serves to develop our relations. Information was shared about the reforms and social achievements in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection in Azerbaijan in recent years, as well as the innovative advantages of the DOST Concept and the digital achievements in labour, employment, and social protection. The importance of cooperation and exchange of experience with Slovenia in these areas was also noted.
G.Rencelj expressed his country’s interest in deepening relations with Azerbaijan across all sectors and emphasized the mutual significance of exchanging successful experiences gained in the social reform process.
The meeting also focused on opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation in the areas of labour, employment, and social protection.
