During the medical certification of citizens who have been called up for regular military service the process of conducting final medical examinations by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population continues.
For this reason, conscripts undergo visual examinations at the Medical Assessment Center equipped with the latest modern equipment, operating under the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry.
The conscripts, who were given feedback in 4 categories by professional doctors-specialists specialized in the center:
• on non-ordinary fitness for active military service ("B" category);
• on deferment of conscription by being considered temporarily unfit for active military service due to health conditions ("Category "C");
• on unfitness for actual military service in peacetime, limited fitness in wartime ("category "C");
• on unfitness for military service both in peacetime and in wartime ("D" category)
final medical examination is being conducted.
Based on the results of the final medical examination, the Medical Evaluation Commission makes one of the following decisions:
• the cause of unfitness is confirmed under the same category;
• the cause of unfitness is confirmed in a different category;
• the cause of unfitness is not confirmed in any category.
It should be noted that an electronic queue for the conscript's visual examination is set based on the referral, which is entered into the Ministry's "Medical Certification" subsystem after the Central Military-Medical Commission's opinion on the conscript is approved for the conscript's final medical examination.
The Agency's doctors perform a visual examination on the conscripts based on duties. In collaboration with pertinent institutions, final medical examinations are conducted in a transparent, adaptable, and impartial manner.
The adopted decision on the examination is entered into the electronic system and the conscripts are informed about the decision electronically.
