Since November 1, 2019, when the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population was entrusted with the management of adoption, 622 children have been adopted by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry.
310 of them are boys and 312 are girls.
As in other spheres of activity of the Ministry, management and services in the field of adoption are carried out through electronic infrastructure.
Ensuring the physical and moral development of children given for adoption in families is monitored. For this purpose, until those children reach the age of 18, monitoring is carried out every quarter in the first year of adoption, and once a year in the following years. About 6,000 such monitorings were carried out in the past period.
