Young people living in children’s home social service institutions under the Social Services Agency of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, as well as beneficiaries of the Vocational and Labour Rehabilitation Centre for Persons with Disabilities, visited elderly people.
The event was organised on 2 February – Youth Day, during which young people spent meaningful time with residents of social service institutions for elderly persons.
Together, they made pottery items and wove carpets. Young people attending barber courses at the Vocational and Labour Rehabilitation Centre provided hair care services to elderly people, while young cooks participated in a cake-decorating master class together with them.
Later, a bicycle race was held between the elderly and the youth, and winners were awarded gifts. The event aimed to strengthen intergenerational communication and foster sincere relationships.
