Social payments prescribed for the adoption or placement in a foster family of a child with a disability who has been deprived of parental care from social service institutions are provided to the adoptive or foster family, together with all monthly payments assigned to the child due to their disability and care needs.
The combined total monthly amount of these social payments is:
- For a child with a disability due to an impairment of 81–100 percent of the body's functions:
when adopted: 1,270 manats (1,370 manats if the child has a visual disability);
when placed with a foster family: 1,170 manats for a child aged 0–6, 1,270 manats for a child aged 7–13, and 1,320 manats for a child aged 14–18 (for a child with a visual disability, 1,270 manats, 1,370 manats and 1,420 manats respectively);
- For a child with a disability due to an impairment of 61–80 percent of the body's functions:
when adopted: 970 manats;
when placed with a foster family: 870 manats, 970 manats and 1,020 manats respectively according to the relevant age categories;
- For a child with a disability due to an impairment of 31–60 percent of the body's functions:
when adopted: 900 manats;
when placed with a foster family: 800 manats, 900 manats and 950 manats respectively according to the relevant age categories.
Children placed with foster families are also provided with a one-time allowance of 200 manats once every quarter for the purchase of seasonal clothing.
