Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev and Head of the Gabala District Executive Authority Sabuhı Abdullayev visited the small businesses established under the self-employment programme for local residents Shahla Chingiz gizi Verdiyeva and Pari Dunyalali gizi Rajabaliyeva.
With the support of the self-employment programme and through the provision of assets, a women’s beauty salon was established for Shahla Verdiyeva, while a small family business producing flour-based products was established for Pari Rajabaliyeva. They expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided to unemployed and job-seeking individuals to access small business opportunities and establish their own enterprises.
To date, businesses have been established for nearly 1,950 people in Gabala District under the self-employment programme.
The services provided to children at a day-care centre established in Gabala on the order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry were reviewed. The centre provides psychosocial rehabilitation for children from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities, and supports the development of their daily living skills, as well as basic reading and writing skills.
The services provided at the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Centre of the Agency were also reviewed. The facility provides children with disabilities with comprehensive medical and social rehabilitation services on an outpatient and inpatient basis, using effective physiotherapy methods and modern equipment.
