Rehabilitation activities for children brought to Azerbaijan from Ukraine continue to be implemented by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

As part of the rehabilitation programme, excursions to the Gabala and Shaki districts were organized to ensure that the children spend their leisure time productively and become more familiar with Azerbaijan’s history, culture and natural environment.

During the excursions, the children visited the Museum of History and Local Lore, the Tufandag Mountain Resort and the Gabaland Amusement Park in Gabala, as well as the Palace of the Shaki Khans in Shaki. Visits to other regions of Azerbaijan are also planned for programme participants in the coming days.

It should be noted that the children enrolled in the 10-day social rehabilitation programme are receiving support aimed at social and psychological well-being and social adaptation.
