Today marks the one-year anniversary of the opening of the "DOST House" branch of the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity, which is located in the Ismayilli and operates under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The "DOST House" was officially opened on November 15, 2023, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. It provides services to vulnerable groups living in Ismayilli and surrounding regions.
Over the past year, 30 beneficiaries from five vulnerable categories had been engaged in various creative training programs. Six workshops had been established in ten different training areas, where beneficiaries improve their skills and vocational abilities in fields such as pottery, artistic carving, tailoring, carpet weaving, and bakery production.
The "DOST House" also implemented various projects aimed at strengthening the social protection of vulnerable groups, organizing over 20 events in cooperation with both governmental and non-governmental organizations. These events include various master classes, info tours, concert programs, and etc.
The training programs held at the "DOST House" in different creative fields aim to develop the beneficiaries' artistic skills and enhance their social integration.
